This old barn began as a homestead in the late 1890's. It was disassembled and relocated across the road in the 1930's, reassembled and has been in continuous use as a barn since. Our project included a preservation master plan, one component was to relocate the barn to a more secure and usable site on the original property.

The barn was well built. Red oak sills and vertical siding is surprisingly in great condition, it made the move with flying colors. We look forward to the upcoming restoration.
